Here’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss…In celebration of Independent Retailer Month this July, Faire has launched an 'Open with Faire' contest for recently-opened or soon-to-open retailers in the UK.

This fantastic initiative aims to support new and aspiring shop-owners by offering £5,000 in Faire credit to help you start your journey on the right foot and stock your shelves with unique products sold on Faire’s platform.

Whether you’re dreaming of opening your very own retail store, eager to grow your current establishment, or in need of a stock refresh for your recently opened shop – this could be the boost you need to make it a reality.

The competition will run for 6 weeks, before a shortlist of finalists are selected. These finalists will then be reviewed by a panel of industry experts to determine the two winners - including Charlotte Broadbent (UK Country Lead at Faire), Rebecca Morter (Founder and CEO of Lone Design Club), Andrew Goodacre (CEO of the British Independent Retailers Association) and Wilfred
Emmanuel-Jones (Founder of The Black Farmer; Faire customer and active Open with Faire candidate).

*To be eligible to enter, you must be an independent retailer (who resells goods) based in the UK who opened a new
shop in 2023-2024 or plans to open in 2024. Retailers who are expanding to a new location or opening a pop-up are
also eligible. Entries close on August 14 (5pm GMT), 2024. After that, Faire will select five up-and-coming retailers
who will move on to the next round based on the quality of application and store vision. These five finalists will go in
front of our judging panel of industry experts to select the winners. Runner-ups who did not win can still move forward
