Net Zero

You will have hopefully seen that today the Government has published both a Net Zero Strategy and the Heat and Buildings Strategy.

Building on the Prime Minister’s 10 Point Plan, the Net Zero Strategy set’s out how the UK will deliver on its commitment to reach net zero emissions by 2050; while the Heat and Building strategy highlights how households will benefit from £5,000 government grants through £450 million Boiler Upgrade Scheme to help install low-carbon heating systems.

Alongside these policy papers, HMT have also today published the Net Zero Review, an analytical report that explores the key issues as the UK decarbonises.
