Dorset based art and giftware company wins Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday
Dorset based giftware company, Share A Little Frankie, won ‘Small Business Sunday’ on Monday 3rd February 2025. A weekly competition run by Theo Paphitis and his ‘SBS Crew’. Each week six businesses are selected across social media from the entries to win ‘SBS’ and gain access to a huge network of 4000+ members amongst other exciting opportunities such as an annual event run by ‘SBS’.
Share A Little Frankie creates high quality hand drawn wildlife inspired giftware and greetings cards, which sell online and through retailers. The business is owned by 20-year-old award winning artist Lucy Kendall, who started the business with £850 she earned through a deal she made with her mum for her GCSE results.
‘‘We had just come back home from visiting Spring Fair for the day and my phone started buzzing non-stop. It had already been a fantastic day networking with wonderful businesses, with many exciting opportunities to explore, but winning Small Business Sunday was an incredible end to the day!’’
‘‘Looking back to when I started with £850, from money I got from my mum for my GCSE results, to now having created a business able to win ‘SBS’ it gives me so much excitement for the future of Share A Little Frankie.’’

Artist Lucy Kendall, a young artist based in the heart of Dorset, inspired by the countryside and the beautiful wildlife that surrounds her. Lucy’s journey as an artist has been shaped by a deep love for animals and a passion for capturing not only their physical beauty but their unique personalities in her work!
It all started with a deal she made with her mum, Shelley, during her GCSEs in 2020. Shelley promised to pay Lucy per grade she achieved. After earning £850, Lucy invested it all in creating her first greeting card range.
From those first sales, Lucy’s dream grew into the collection she has today! Lucy is incredibly fussy when it comes to quality (and proud of it!). This means that every product Share A Little Frankie creates meets her quality expectations, with all her products made as local as possible to the studio and as sustainably as possible. Lucy will always strive to make her business eco-friendlier! She also loves to donate to UK charities with dedicated ranges so keep an eye out for these in 2025.
After completing her A-levels and art foundation, Lucy was ready to jump full-time into my business, but life had other plans! She was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), which forced her to slow down and focus on recovery. Lucy’s healing journey has been influenced by her mindset, mental health, her art and her pets- all of which now inspire the way she approaches her work and lif
